Now, I'll tell you about my hobbies. I have got a lot of hobbies. For me, a hobbie is a thing that we love to do; a hobbie can be maybe an extra school activity or something that we do with our families at the weekend for example. When I went to school, I did a lot of extra school activities: rythmic gymnastics, theatre, painting, computer studies and jazz. The most important for me was rythmic gymnastics because I really love dance. Now, every wednesday I go to balet classes and on fridays I practise hip-hop. Until last year I was doing painting in an academy, but I had left it because now I'm studying first of batxillerat ans it's to dificult to combine the studies with all of our hobbies. Also I love go shopping, often I go with my mum, but it's better to go with my friends. Althought is my mum who have got the money. I'm sure that if clothes are free or cheaper I would go shopping every day. I like to go to the cinema too, but I can't go every week as my parents, for example, because I haven't go enough time. At the weekend I don't do many things because also I have got too work and homework; and saturdays and sundays are the days wich I can take a break.
LONDON - Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal has admited that he is completely worn out after his recent injuries. Adding to the 23-yer-old's misery, the most dominant player in the world last year crashed 7-6 6-3 to Novak Djokovic, wich ended his World Tour Finals campaign with a third succesive defeat.
"Somwtimes your battery finishes and you have to go out and buy anither one. At the moment, I just feel very tired", The sun quoted Nadal, as saying.
The defeat followed similar straight sets disppointments aginst Swede Robin Soderling and Rusian Nikolay Davydenko.
Nadal has now lost four games in a row on the Tour- his worst run since he was 17.

I know that Rafael Nadal is a very good tennis player and he's well known for his victories and wins; but it's normally that Rafa is worn out after his injuries because he has tried very hard in every match.
It's good that he reminds that he is completely worm out but it's surprising because sometimes the sportiers think that their batteries never finish; but it's impossible. Everything is someday finish and in this context it's related to the sporties' age. In his moment Rafa was very succesful, but probably it's finished now.
In my opinion:
Rafa was the number onebut I think that he has now last for games in a row because his tired and he has been in trouble because his parents get divorced. I think that he can still be the number one again because he's young and everybody can be tired in some moment.
Anna Scott is the world's most famous movie star. She appears in the cover of every magazines and she is well known in all the world.
William Thacker has got a bookstore, but his bussines is coming to standstill. William is divorced and now, his love life, doesn't exists.
For both characters the love is very important. There is a moment in the film where Anna and William cross in the neighborhood of Notting Hill, in London; but William doesn't know that Anna is a movie star. Then, Anna go into the bookstore and they will remind to each other in every moment. William lives with a friend who knows Anns Scott and when she see the famous girl in William's house, he can't believe it. Te film ends good because they will be together for every after. Even thought Anna is the most famous movie star and William is just a book seller.
In class we watched other film, but as we can't finish this film, I have chosen notting hill to do this exercise. Notting Hill is my favourite film because I really like Hugh Grant, the main character. I have seen this film a lot of times.

Portbou is the village where I spend the summers since I was born. Portbou isn't known but it's very nice. On summer there are a lot of people from France because Portbou is on the French border. I really like Portbou because there is a small beach wich is very special and where I spend every morning on summer. Portbou is very small and everybody know each other are some people who spend the summers in Portbou from Barcelona and their families live in Portbou, as mine. My grandparents live there, also my ount, uncles and cousins too. I'll tell you about the summers there: I think that everybidy have to spend one of their summers there because it's really fantastic and specially if you have got a house or a flat there. In the morning you can go to the beach or go swimming to other beaches and go for a walk in the port wich is very nice. In the evening you can go also in the beach but as it's very small, at seven p.m approximately, there isn't sunny. There is an association wich organize partys on the night, it's called Ajp ("associació de joves portbouencs"). This celebrations are very good for young people. The town festival is on 23th, 24th and 25th of July and I recommend you to go there.
Hi Gemma! My name is Helena. I’m fifteen years old but in December I’ll be sixteen. I was born in Girona on the fourth of December in 1993. I live here, in Castelló d’Empúries. I live with my mum and my stepfather, Marc. I’ve got two cats: “Floc” is very big and white, he has got blue eyes. “Lluna” is smaller than Floc, she’s black and white, and her eyes are green. I really love animals! When I was eight I came here but before I was living in Figueres. When I arrived here I didn’t like this town, and I didn’t know anybody here. Now I don’t want to leave; my best friends are Júlia, Mariana, Antonela, Ariadna and Stefi. I’m an optimist person and I think that violence isn’t a solution for problems. I would like to be an actress and meet a lot of interesting people, but I think that’s impossible. Next week I’m going to start doing ballet because since I was young I’ve wanted to do this. I really love dance. My favourite subject now is Latin or maybe Engilsh and I hate Maths, but this year I don’t do Maths because I can try doing Greek. At university I would like to study Journalism and travel a lot; or translate into English. I’ll work a lot to get a very good mark in our subject!
Once upon a time there was a girl; her name was Sophie and she was eleven when the event happened. She was living in a very small town called Baskerville. Sophie was always very lively because Baskerville’s habitants was very pleasant with her and in this town everybody was always happy. In Baskerville it was always sunny and there never were clouds, it was very clean and even in the darkest night, was impossible to be scared. Sophie’s best friends were Joe and Rachel, who were cousins and were always with her. They used to spend their free time in a big hill wich was next to Baskerville.
One day Sophie and her friends were playing hide-and-seek in the hill, when Sophie’s father arrived where they were. He said them that Sophie had to go home because he had a very important box wich somebody had to keep an eye on it. Sophie, Joe and Rachel went to Sophie’s house; when they arrived there, her father got cross with Sophie and said: -You can’t open this box. If you open it, something really bad will happen.- -What will happen, daddy?- -I don’t know Sophie, nobody has never opened it, because it’s too dangerous- Then Sophie, who was very frightened, said: -Ok dad, I’ll be careful.- Then, Sophie’s father left home to went at work, he worked as a taxi driver.
Sophie and her friends were bored at home. Joe was joking about the Sophie’s father box and Sophie was very angry with him. Rachel wanted to take a book from the shelves were there was the box, accidentally, she touched the box and it fell on the floor. The box opened, Sophie shouted and then she took the box to close it. Joe was laughing and Sophie, who was very angry, was shouting and crying. Rachel tried to calm her but it was impossible; then Joe said: -Sophie, calm down! Nothing happens, your father has said that it’s dangerousbecause he doesn’t want that you play out!- While he was talking with her, suddenly he opened the box and everything was still normally. A few minuts later, Sophie was calmer and her friends left home. It had passed three hours and she was alone and her father hadn’t go back home. She was looking the box when suddenly the phone rang; it was from the hospital, the doctor said that Sophie’s father had had an accident. Sophie hang up the phone and immediately she left home to go to the hospital when she was walking on the street, Baskerville didn’t look the same town because there were nobody and it was raining. Also she saw lots of pieces of broken glasses cause houses’ windows had broken as if somebody had thrown stones to it.
When she arrived at the hospital; there was a strange on the door of her father’s room. She was short, she had got blue hair and her skin was white, like the snow. She was shining as if she was a star. She went to Sophie and said:
-I’m the hope’s fairy. The hope is still on the box, but all bad things wich were also inthe box have scaped from it. I’ll help you to do that all this things came back in the box. If you believe in me, your father will get better. Sophie was very surprised but she believed the fairy and went inside the room. Her father was good. Then, he said: -Sophie, I’m sure that I’m here because you have opened the box. Why have you did it? -Forgive me, daddy. I didn’t know how it has could happen!- -Don’t worry Sophie, it’s my fault.- Sophie looked at the window and saw that it was sunny again, then she said: -Daddy, wait a minut!- Sophie went downstairs and saw the fairy leaving the hospital. She looked out and everything was normally: The sun was shining and a doctor said her that her father could go back home.

My oral presentation was about my summer in Portbou. I didn’t use a lot of resources because it isn’t a topic to can use sounds or objects for example, but I used a power point with lots of images and photos that I took during the summer, there was photos with my friends and photos of the village too.
I think that these images made better my oral presentation.
I didn’t last long because I was a bit nervous and I spoke very fast.
I was looking at my audience but especially at my teacher, I don’t know why.
I admit that sometimes I looked at my paper but only when I forgot something.
I was doing some gestures but every time I did the same gesture, every time I touched my hair.
I organize my ideas because first I tell about the village and why I spend the summers there, and then, I tell about my friends and what I do with them.
I think that everybody understanded all the information that I gave to them because I gave some examples about what I did in Portbou and in my power point there were photos about everything I explained.
I think that the grammar I used was correct but I know that I made some mistakes because sometimes I didn’t know how to do some phrases or how to use some expressions.
I admit that I didn’t use any sentence linkers and I wanted to use some pause fillers but I was nervous and I forgot it.
I don’t know if I pronounciated all the words good because I didn’t check the pronunciation. I tried to change my tone of voice but I think that I didn’t do it; but I spoke in a fluid continuum because I didn’t do breaks and interruptions.
TRANSCRIPTION
Portbou is a small village situated in the northern part of Catalunya. Is next to France. In Portbou there are four or five beaches, but the most important, is the biggest beach.
On summer there is a lot of people from France and Germany.
(picture) This is the most important beach, called la "Platja gran", but I know that's very small.
Maybe you know Portbou by its train station, wich is very large ans well known.
I've always thought that the station is bigger tnat the town. (picture) This is the station, and this is the town.
I spend the summers in Portbou because my grandparents live there and I also was living there when I was two years old, before started school on Figueres.
I have got a lot of friends there, but some of them are from Barcelona or Girona, and they spend the summers in Portbou because their families live there, as mine. There, I have got uncles, ounts and cousins too.

Every day we used to go to the beach. Sometimes we went swimming to other beaches.
When the water was too cold, we only was sunbathing or playing cards for example.
For example, one day we went by boat to Garbet, a town situated between Llançà and Portbou. We went to a small beach called "La paella".
When we had arrived to other beaches, we were looking for a place to throw ourselves to the sea.
We sometimes used to go to play paddle on Colera, it's a town situated next to Portbou. We went by trainm but it's possible to go on food too.
Alsi we used to go to the port to jump and fall on the sea.
Every day I used to meet Paula, my best friend, at twelve o'clock to go to the beach. She lives in front of the beach, and my grandparents live very close to it too. Then, Paula and I go to meer Cristina, who lives also close form us. Then we go to the beach, and there we meet all our friends, like Anna, Carlota, Paula and Alejandra.
The, everybody used to go to have lunch at trhee o'clock approximately, but at half past four we used to meet again at the beach.
I think that Portbou is a very nice place to take photos, because there is the sea but also the mountains, and in my opinion, Porbtou's beach is very special because in the beach, there isn't sand like Empuriabrava for example, there are stones, as Garbet or Colera.
ADRIAN MOLE VS THIRTEEN
I think that both characters have a dramatic adolescence. Maybe Adrian, the main character of the book that we’ve read in class, is more responsible and more mature because he’s always the same person, and he has got always the same personality. Tracy is an irresponsible girls because she leaves her true friends and goes out with other people who are very problematic for her, like Evie Zamora and her friends.
The characters are similar because Tracy’s parents are divorced, and Adrian’s parents, too; because Adrian’s best friend (Nigel) is the girl that he loves (Pandora’s) boyfriend, and Tracy’s “best friend” (Evie) kisses Tracy’s boyfriend, called Javi. Adrian Mole is worried about his spots and the size of his “thing”, and Tracy at the beginning of the film isn’t worried about anything, but then she wants to improve her appearance and she doesn’t realize she’s becoming a worse person. Adrian’s book has a happy ending but the film doesn’t because Tracy wants to dies, and she is like a crazy person at the end of the film.
I want to tell you about my best friend, Paula. She lives in Girona and she's seventeen. I've know Paula since I was aproximately seven. I met her in Portbou, the town where we spend the summers and some weekends. In Portbou we are always toqether and sometimes with other friends. She is older than me, but it isn't important. She's very important for me cause she can help me when I'm worried or when I'm in trouble; she listens to me and gives me advice. Sometimes, we are angry to each other, but we try to sort it out as soon as possible. I think that we'll be friends for the rest of our lives because she's like a sister to me.
